About Social Change Agency

Hello, welcome to my site. I am a former primary school teacher with a degree in Women's Studies and Study of Religion, currently a PhD student researching feminist agency, education policy, and professional learning for the prevention of gender based violence. I've set up this site as a way of organising my ideas and resources, and making them available to colleagues. I have worked in the area of bullying and violence prevention for over 15 years—as Senior Project Officer for the national Safe and Supportive School Communities project and the Bullying. No Way! website (www.bullyingnoway.com.au), Project Leader for the Federal Government’s Success for Boys Professional Learning Program, and as a Project Officer in the Education Queensland Gender Equity Unit. I have also worked in the women’s health sector as Manager of a migrant women’s shelter and as a Board Member and Workshop Facilitator for the Eating Disorders Association of Queensland. An Executive Member of the national Association of Women Educators (www.awe.asn.au), I'm Project Officer for the Leading Social Change and White Ribbon Day Every Day projects and also a member of the Advisory Group for the Australian Women Against Violence Alliance www.awava.org.au Email: delaneymt@gmail.com
